Our Grandparents House
The house was at the corner of Bayshore and Ixora, set back about 150' from Bayshore.
The above 3 pictures are of the contruction our Grandparent's house. The far left picture is the front of the house. The other 2 pictures are of the west side of the house. A bedroom was in the front and rear.
Our grandparents, with our dad and his sister, Laura Ruth, moved to North Fort Myers in the early 1930 - I believe it was 1932 (since our dad said he was 17 when the moved). I am not sure what year house was built, but I believe it was probably the early 1940's and possibly the late 30's. It was concrete block construction, a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room, living room and nice porch.
